Due to the addition of additional items (Storage Vault for access to personal Invention Salvage, and an Invention worktable) we were a bit skewed on our Power/Control Ratios. With the maximum number of Control Auxiliary placed,
an upgrade to the main control unit was necessary. In order to do this, I had to first upgrade the plot, add some more rooms in order to move the stuff that was crafted and thus could not be deleted without losing the salvage used. As a result, every last piece of 'decor' was sold off to afford the (temporary) upgrade to the base plot during the move.
I tried adding a larger power room, which holds TWO power crystals, but found out that the base PLOT size limits us to ONE power crystal, which is enhanced by it's maximum of 2 Crystal Focuses. I have a Ley Tap crafted, but we lack the prestige to place it at this time. I am hoping we will be able to place it in the same sized room.
We now have a telepad to IP (thanks to moving the rooms I found space for that ONE tiny transportation room). It is in the very back. Go to the Telepads to Founders/Talos and Eden/Peregrine Island - from that room, turn right. It is a small room with 1 pad and 1 beacon.
A new base map is forthcoming. I am working on this now but am not sure when I will get it done.
There are NO DECORATIONS in the base at this time. I will try to spruce things up as time goes by, but right now am a bit pressed for time. The resurrection circle auxiliary items are *still* not working, so I got rid of those also. I may need to try to readjust power once this is done, so I may have to tear the base up *sigh* once again.....
But - we do have telepads TO ALL ZONES that have beacons, now. AND YOU CAN ACCESS YOUR *PERSONAL* Invention salvage, and craft it in the base. This should save time and travel from running back and forth to Pocket D, and Universities!
I will post an announcement in the SG MOTD when the map is done.

Base map is (finally) finished. Sorry for the delay - I have been super busy.
One of our Coalition members has been working on her crafting badges. I have been assisting her in collecting the salvage and recipes she needs and in turn she is filling our base bins with nice IOs! PLEASE feel free to take, and slot whatever you can use!
Sometimes they get dumped in the Infirmary (for sale) bin by accident. Please try to save them for slotting and sell the DOs instead, if possible.
We are so full on inspirations we have had to add more bins. PLEASE take some! If you are doing a TF, share with the team! It is so nice to be able to head to the base portal and fill everyone up with medium inspirations, especially when doing those grueling lowbie TFs.
Remember when time to slot - go through the base bins before you shop. You will save your influence if you can slot the freebies!
Sorry for the confusion over the telepad beacons. At least now they are in a more logical order (rather than the pell-mell 'placed as we earned them' order they used to be in). We do have ALL available beacons at this time.
Enjoy the base! Remember your teammates are free to use it also, as long as you have the team star. |
